The 5th Annual World of Squash Golf Day move into the Garden of England and on to the tight Westerham Golf Course. Eventis Sports Marketing brought together golfers from all walks of squash, including players, sponsors, administrators, media and fans of the sport from across the globe.

The tight wooded course proved to be a fitting challenge for the day.  It was again a stunning September’s day that welcomed the eager golfers. As always preparation was varied ranging from hitting plenty of balls on the range, fine tuning the putting stroke to a pint of beer and a bacon sandwich!

After dinner was served the prizes were awarded with the winning team coming slightly embarassingly from the hosts, Eventis! But after much deliberatio they agreed to accept thge title on the basis no-one else had played well enough! The individual title was lifted by Andy Reilly, with his 36 points meaning he was the onlyone to play to handicap demonstrating the severity of straying into the trees!

Nearest the Pins were won by World no.12 (squash player) Tom Richards andvTony Morgan, while Paul Daniels demonstrated a desire to avoid the wooden spoon with a heft blow to pick up theLongest Drive trophy!

Young Sports Aid funded golfer Dulcie Sverdloff also impressed everyone with her skills hitting on to the signature 11th Par 3 with consumate ease.
