The English Open was the first squash event
ever to be held in Sheffield's famous Crucible Theatre, in
August 2003.
The venue
proved a tremendous setting for the brand-new all-Glass
court, and provided spectacular squash for the audience and
TV viewers.
It returned to the Crucible in 2004, 2005 and 2006, but will
be held elsewhere in the city in 2007 while the theatre
undergoes renovation.
