Company Info

Eventis Sports Marketing Ltd was founded in 2002 by Peter Nicol, MBE, Tim Garner and Angus Kirkland. All three directors played on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour and the company's main focus was initially on promoting international Squash events.

Eventis have produced from inception to completion two international squash events that have been venue led.  The first event Eventis inaugurated was the English Open Squash Championships (2003-2007) which was held at the famous Crucible Theatre in Sheffield and subsequently the English Institute of Sport.  In 2004 Eventis produced the first Canary Wharf Squash Classic, at the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, which celebrated its eleventh year in 2014. Both events have showcased the world’s best players to live and television audiences.

Eventis directors have also been involved at tournament directors of two Women's World Open Squash Championships in Belfast in 2006 and Madrid in 2007, and more recently the ATCO World Series Finals 2012 & 2013 and Allam British Open in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Eventis also owns the Eventis Pro Court, a state of the art 4-glass-walled Courtwall court that has been hired for use all over Europe and the Middle East.

In 2005 Eventis inaugurated the annual World Squash Awards as a means to bring together the squash community to celebrate the achievements of the games leading players (past and present). The company has continued to diversify with Squash Camps and the hosting of a popular annual World of Squash Golf Day now in its 7th year.

The company has an excellent and close working relationship with all of the games governing bodies - World Squash Federation, PSA, WSA and England Squash & Racketball.
